Presentation Title: Oral History, Technology, and Place-Based Education

Mr. Dodson will use video, music, and storytelling to show how the Bland County History Archives, a 14-year oral history project, uses place-based methods to teach the US History SOLs and the use of technology.

He will be presenting in the Executive Auditorium at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center in Abingdon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, as part of the Annual B.G. Raines Education Forum.
