Cynthia Kelley
Presentation Title: Differentiation of Instruction
Cynthia Kelley teaches English and is an Extend coordinator at Amherst County High School in Amherst, Virginia. She is one of the McGlothlin Award recipients for 2007 and was a prior finalist twice in 2003 and 2005. Cyndi holds a MA from Virginia Tech and a BA from James Madison University, both in English. Currently, she is beginning doctoral work in Education at UVA.
Cyndi's interests are in differentiation of instruction, curriculum writing, and pre-service teacher training. One of her curriculum units was published in 2005 in Differentiation in Practice; others have received awards and honors. Cyndi will be presenting on Differentiation of Instruction and its ability to transform the classroom.
