Q: Who may attend the Forum?
A: The Forum is composed of three events designed for three groups:
- The Keynote Event (6:00 p.m.) of the B.G. Raines Education Forum is open to the public, and is recommended for persons involved or interested in K-12 education.
- The 4:30 Teacher/Student Teacher Roundtables are for classroom teachers and interested school administrators as well as college students who are in teacher education programs.
- The 3:00 Leadership Roundtable is for school division administrators and instructional leaders, and civic leaders are also welcome.
Q: What do tickets cost?
A: The Forum is free. You are asked to pre-register so that we can manage seating and refreshments. Limited registration at the door is available until seats are filled.
Q: Which events are good for Lyceum credit at Emory & Henry?
A: The keynote event only.
Q: Who funds the Forum?
A: Emory & Henry College and the surrounding public school divisions.
